Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

We are in the process of a deeply personal and unexpected journey: the potential adoption of a beautiful baby girl named Ivy Lulu. She was born early with medical challenges and is currently in the NICU over 500 miles away from our home in Utah.

Although the path ahead is full of unknowns, we feel called to do everything we can to bring Ivy home and give her the love, stability, and future she deserves. We’re humbly asking for your help.

Why We’re Raising Funds

While we were not actively pursuing adoption, Ivy came into our lives in the most unexpected way. We learned about her situation on June 16, and she was born the very next day. There was no time to prepare, plan, or gather even the most basic baby essentials. We jumped in with faith, knowing this may be the beginning of something life-changing.

We’re hoping to raise $20,000 to help cover:

• Adoption-Related Legal Fees: Including agency coordination, home study updates, court filings, and ICPC requirements.

• ✈️ Travel & Lodging: We are splitting our time between Utah and the NICU where Ivy is, which involves lodging and travel expenses which add up quickly.

• Birth Mother Support: Ivy’s birth mother has given us the ultimate gift and funds will be used to support her for a period after birth.

• Medical & Specialized Care: Ivy was born with medical complexities that may require ongoing treatment, specialist travel, and potential surgeries.
