Help Bring Hope to Lucero’s kids

Hi, my name is Maria and I am fundraising for Johnny Lucero’s son and daughter.

Johnathan Lucero, better known to many of us as Johnny, was a Combat Engineer (12Bravo) who served three tours in the Middle East. During one of his tours to the Middle East he received two bronze stars.

On December 26th, tragedy struck when Johnny lost his battle to PTSD. Leaving behind his wife and two kids. Losing a parent is the most difficult experience a child can ever have. On top of losing one of their parents, military children are oftentimes forced to move away from their military communities and lose those support systems too.

Over 6,000 US service members have been killed since 9/11. In addition, a total of 23 veterans and service members commit suicide each day. About 35.9% of service members were married with an average of 2 children.

Johnny’s kids are now faced with having to move forward without their beloved dad. With your contributions, it will help to ensure that both his children have access to resources that they need, from emotional support to their education. Every donation, and prayer will help make a significant impact in Johnnys kids journey to healing. Let’s surround Johnnys kids with love and support during their most darkest and challenging days.
