I'm reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my dear older cousin, who is facing an overwhelming and unjust legal battle. She is fighting for the return of her 7-year-old daughter, who has been kept away from her mother and 3-year-old little sister.

Throughout this difficult process, my cousin has faced heartbreaking challenges. Despite a DCFS report clearing her of any abuse allegations, as well as the investigator stating that these claims were made out of spite from the party that made the claims. Important facts and evidence have been overlooked. She believes false narratives have been allowed to shape the outcome of her case, while her concerns and evidence have not been given fair consideration.

Every day, she continues fighting not only for custody of her daughter, but also for the truth to be heard. The emotional and financial burden has become overwhelming. Between raising her 3-year-old daughter and paying mounting legal expenses, she can no longer carry this fight alone.
