Help bring my dad home

My dad, Henry Gutierrez, was taken by ICE on January 13, 2026, around 7 in the morning at La Guadalupana Mini Market in Pawling. Our family was heartbroken when we received his call that he was unnecessarily detained. My dad explained that he couldn’t even defend himself and that ICE agents didn't let anyone defend him! When he tried telling the officer if he had a warrant for his arrest, the officer insisted that he didn’t understand what he was saying since he was speaking with a Spanish accent.

He's been in the U.S. for 10 years of his life, and his family is here. We need to ensure he comes home to us—he does not belong anywhere else. We are raising funds to help pay for his lawyer so he can positively get bail. If you can help at all, we would be eternally grateful.

Mi papá, Henry Gutiérrez, fue detenido por ICE el 13 de enero de 2026, alrededor de las 7 de la mañana, en el minimercado La Guadalupana en Pawling. Nuestra familia quedó destrozada cuando recibimos su llamada informándonos de su detención injustificada. Mi papá explicó que ni siquiera pudo defenderse y que los agentes de ICE no permitieron que nadie lo defendiera. Cuando intentó preguntarle al oficial si tenía una orden de arresto, el oficial insistió en que no entendía lo que decía, debido a su acento español.

Ha vivido en Estados Unidos durante 10 años y su familia está aquí, y necesitamos asegurarnos de que regrese a casa con nosotros; no pertenece a ningún otro lugar.
