Hi, I’m Diarmuid Gallagher, a 27-year-old PE teacher at North Wicklow Educate Together Secondary School. This June, I’ll be travelling to Kenya to volunteer at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Kiangunyi Catholic Parish, where I’ll be helping to build schools and teach local children.

Education has the power to change lives, and during my time there, I’ll be working closely with the community to support their efforts in creating better learning environments for young people. The funds raised will go directly towards school supplies, classroom materials, and covering essential school fees for children who would otherwise go without.
