My dear friend, David, is an absolutely amazing person! He is intelligent, hard-working, and has a heart the size of Texas! He is an avid reader, animal lover, and a genuine soul.

David has not had a place to call home or lay his head in far too long. It seems every time there is light at the end of the tunnel, the metaphorical rug gets yanked out from under him—from open-heart surgery just as he saved up enough for a down payment on a well-used RV (resulting in job loss) to vehicle issues, to the closing of the company he was working for (resulting in job loss again), to illness. (Please note: drug use is NOT an issue. The only "drugs" in his system are caffeine and maybe Tylenol.)

As it so happens, I have another friend in need of a roommate. I am attempting to get these two friends in a mutually beneficial environment. There is just the minor issue of roughly 1,500 miles. This is where you come in!

The plan at this stage is for me to fly to Texas, rent a U-Haul truck and tow dolly for David's van, and drive back to West Virginia. (The van is in no shape to even think about driving that far!) We can alternate driving, but will still need to stop at least one night.

Please help me bring David home!
