Our family is facing an unimaginable loss. My dad, Danny Ayres Jr., passed away unexpectedly while we were visiting Minnesota. We had traveled from Kentucky to see my maternal grandma, who is currently battling lung cancer. Now, we are trying to bring Danny home to Kentucky so we can say our final goodbyes and lay him to rest with the dignity he deserves.
Danny was a wonderful father, a loving partner to my mom, and a dedicated firefighter. He also worked for Guthrie Scrap Yard, always working hard to support our family. His sudden passing has left us not only heartbroken but also struggling to manage the overwhelming costs that come with this tragedy. My mom is currently jobless, and Danny was our main source of support. The expenses for transportation, funeral arrangements, outstanding medical bills, and everyday bills my mom is now struggling to pay on her own are more than we can handle alone. On top of everything, Danny did not have health insurance to help cover the cost of his medical care, which has added to the financial burden.
