Thank you for standing with Daisy, her husband Diego, and her children. Daisy has been detained in Eloy, Arizona, for seven months since April 1, 2025; this has been a very slow process that has taken a heavy toll on her and on everyone who loves her. Daisy is a hard worker, a dedicated business woman, and a genuinely kind soul; she has done so much for our community and has become part of my family.
Case status update: on September 24, 2025, the immigration judge administratively closed Daisy’s case because her family petition, the I-130, had not yet been approved. The I-130 has since been approved; however, an appeal was filed before that approval, so the case is now with the Board of Immigration Appeals. We are raising funds to retain a federal immigration attorney who can fight for Daisy’s release, present the updated facts, and guide this appeal with precision and urgency.
How your gift will help:
• Attorney retainer and ongoing legal fees for the federal appeal
• Filing fees, translations, and document preparation
• Case strategy meetings and timely submissions
• Any remaining funds will support Daisy’s immediate needs upon release
If you have felt Daisy’s kindness, please give what you can today. Any amount helps; even five or ten dollars moves us closer to our goal. If you cannot donate, please share this page with a few words about how Daisy has impacted you. Your support helps Daisy receive the representation she deserves and brings her one step closer to coming home.
With gratitude
Nicole Banks
