Chavez family with deportation to Guatemala

Updated for November
4.5 months have passed and we finally got his court hearing and it did not go well. I could tell within the first 30 minutes Douglas was gonna be denied. The judge was jst heartless.
My worst fear just happened and im still dealing with it.
And now my husband is all the way very far away from us. Hes on his way. Im waiting for him to call me. He has nothing but the clothes he was wearing that morning on his way to work he has to start all over by himself there. I can not imagine how HE FEELS.
My heart is soooo broke.
I still have our 7 kids at home and this last 4.5 months have been the worst nightmare I cant wake up from. NOW. Since I refuse to be separated from my husband. I will start to plan and prepare for myself and kids to leave my country I once was so proud of and take my kids to his home country. A big culture change for us.
This is what Trump wanted accomplished. He tore many familys apart and im one of the them!!!!!
The things I have to leave and give up here jst to be with my husband. It's truly heartbreaking.
I jst wanted to give an update to all who has previously helped my family in this horrible time. And thank u again.

Update July 23rd!
ok so Douglas has had his 2 interviews and they have decided to find his fear of stay. Creditable! That is GREAT NEWS. The next step is seeing the Judge for his final decision. THIS next step that we prayed for is here. But it cost alot of money guys. Before this is over. We have to pay our lawyer $ 12000.00 that is our agreement. And I need to put 3000 down again.. now.. for our lawyer to start the next paperwork. So asap!.

Im sooo thankful for how far this has raised. Every dollar is going straight to Douglas to help Him!!
If we can please keep sharing we really need this help! Thank u guys sooo much who have donated. It all adds up.

Hello. My name is Brittney Chavez.
I'm writing to ask for help for my family. I've had to overcome the pride I hold and ask the community for help !!!
My recently married husband was driving on his way to his job on Wednesday, June 26th, and was pulled over and then arrested immediately and taken from St. Joe to KC immigration holding within 20 mins. He was gone!! Like kidnapped. And by the time the night was over, he was in Kay County, Oklahoma.
On his way to be deported!!
I have 7 kids with him!!!! Ranging from 2 and 3 years old all the way to 16 years old. I spent 2 days fighting to find him a lawyer to STOP his deportation. I had to sell big personal things just to retain a lawyer.
I have been with this man for 7 years and all I have known was for him to work his butt off and provide for us, and in that 7 years, we have produced seven wonderful children who love their father. Trust me, we cry daily for him. He's never been away from me nor his kids!! Never!!! This is very hard and challenging for him and for us to be away!!

I have so many people that can vouch for Douglas Chavez on what type of good person he is! He always has a smile and laugh waiting. He's a cook. The best breakfast cook ever. He has many people follow him and compliment him. He's the glue to his family. He takes care of not only our family but his mother and disabled adult sister. We are all lost without him. He is so much needed here!!!

He NEVER has criminal issues. No DWI. No drugs. No domestic. Nothing!!!!!! Clean record all this time he's been here since 7 years old. Came with his uncle and dad because of events that happened in his home country. His whole life he's worked. Paid taxes. He does NOT receive any government benefits for being here and that's fine!! He just wanted to provide for his kids!! He's not looking to leech off the system!

HIS CASE IS DIFFERENT!! We are fighting an asylum case because he CANNOT return to his own country for family feud reasons that could cause harm to me and my children if we were to return to his home country with him!!!!! Very serious.

I need to fight and do everything in my power to bring him back home and do this the correct way so we never have to worry about this again.

He does have a story. He's not just someone over here hiding; he does want to be legal and he needs the help!!

Losing him meant losing our income that we relied on him. I do work but a part-time job and I'm struggling to take care of my children these last 3 weeks and with school coming and legal fees to keep him here, I have no idea what I'm going to do!

I'm a hard worker and a very prideful person, so doing this took a lot of consideration on my part to even try.
But I'm desperate to bring my husband back and the father of my children back!

All I can do is pray with my whole heart for EVERYBODY dealing with immigration! Because this feeling is horrible to be ripped away.

Any small donation adds up and helps and is so much appreciated for my family of nine people. We're greatly missing dad! We need to keep fighting!!! THANK YOU FOR READING THIS FAR. God bless you and PLEASE KEEP PRAYING!!!
