Help Bring Bobby and Brianna Home

On July 30th, we tragically lost our five-year-old baby girl, Amber Skaii Onco, in a drunk driving accident.

Amber was the sweetest, little soul that brought so much light and love into this world. Her sweet smile and gentleness won over so many hearts and is why she so easily became everyone’s baby girl. Hearing her adorable laugh and seeing her little face light up as she sang along to Frozen or Encanto could brighten anyone’s day. She loved dressing up her Barbies and had a talent for creating elegant and elaborate outfits for her dolls out of stickers, hair ties, and random pieces of fabric. Amber loved playing dress-up in Disney princess dresses or wearing any dress that made her look and feel like a princess. One of her favorite dresses was the most magical, beautiful Elsa dress that could play “Let it Go.” She had just graduated Pre-K and was so proud of knowing how to write her name, so much so that she found a permanent marker and wrote her name all over her grandmother’s new wooden floors.

Amber had so much more life to live and love to give. We will forever remember and love our little Encanto princess.

As a family, a community, and a Tribal nation, we are all so shocked and devastated by the passing of our sweet baby girl, none more so than her father, Robert "BJ" Onco. The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support we’ve received, and so many have asked how they can support BJ during this tragic time.

While the services for Amber have been taken care of, we are asking folks to help in providing support for BJ as he takes on full custody of his eight-year-old, Bobby, and two-year-old, Brianna. All financial support will go towards taking care of the children. In-kind donations such as pull ups (size 5T), diapers (size 6), non-perishable food items, toys, clothes (Childrens size 8 clothing for Bobby and 5T for Brianna), shoes (Toddler 8/9c and 1.5/2) can be provided to:
