Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to ask for your support during an incredibly challenging time for Melissa and her family. Melissa and Brittany’s father, Bill, has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and for now he’s been given approximately six months to live.

Bill is currently in Mexico, but in order for him to return to Kelowna, he requires a special, expensive oxygen tank and multiple batteries to safely make the journey home.

As if this situation weren’t already difficult enough, Melissa lives in Germany and needs to take time off work, as well as cover the costs of flights for her and her family for their time in Kelowna.

The emotional and financial strain on Brittany and Melissa is overwhelming, and we are asking for your help to ease this burden during this difficult time. The funds raised will go directly toward:

• The oxygen tank and batteries required for Bill’s safe travel back to Kelowna as well as any other medical expenses that may arrise

• Flights and expenses for Melissa and her family to be by Bill’s side in Kelowna
