Help Us Take Our Independent Theatre Production to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
This August, we have an extraordinary opportunity: to bring our original independent theatre production "Awaiting Evaluation" to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the largest arts festival in the world!
Our play is a new one-act absurdist comedy from emerging writer-director Alex Grech and produced by Jo Berenson that explores adolescent quandaries of identity, purpose, and affection. Following Sid and Ali as they wait in a perpetual limbo for the principal’s arrival, the witty comedy-drama reveals the uncertainty found at the precipice of adulthood and questions what it means to take solace in the outrageous company of a meaningful companion.
"Awaiting Evaluation" has been developed from the ground up by a small, yet mighty team of artists who believe in creating work that is honest, universal, and deeply human. Now, we’re ready to share it with an international audience!
This is where you come in! As an independent production, we are responsible for every step of the journey. Your support will go directly towards:
- Venue rental and festival registration fees
- Set, costumes, and props
- Marketing and PR materials
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is more than just a festival. It’s where new work gets discovered, where artists find collaborators, and where small productions can make a global impact. You may be familiar with iconic productions such as Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s "Fleabag," the comedy-drama "Baby Reindeer," the musical "Six," and the show "Stomp" who all got their start at Edinburgh Fringe.
By supporting us, you're not just funding a trip, but backing independent artists, new writing, and the passion that keeps independent theatre alive. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to that stage. And if you can’t contribute financially, sharing our campaign is just as valuable.
To learn more about "Awaiting Evaluation," visit our website and follow us on Instagram and Facebook, or come see our preview performances at the New York Theatre Festival in Manhattan on June 22, 24 and 27, 2026, or visit us at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland from August 7-29, 2026.
Thank you, and we can't wait to see you at the Fringe!
