Help bring advanced robotics to Uganda!

Donation protected
Hi,

My name is Cooper Li, a High School Student at Montgomery Blair High School. 2 years ago, I traveled to Uganda and helped start the FIRST Lego League robotics program there in partnership with Coderina. To do so, we raised $6000 and donated 11 LEGO robotics kits. Today, 200 kids compete in the program. However, we want to level up Uganda's robotics program, and to do that, we want to give them access to a more advanced robotics program---FIRST Tech Challenge. This summer, I'm travelling back to Uganda with 3 other students to help them transition to having a more advanced program. So far, we've donated them two advanced robotics kits and a 3D printer, totalling around $5000 of value. But, we need to raise $4000 more to donate 2 more robotics kits when we go back to the country this August.

Uganda needs outside support. Their average income is only $78 a month, so $2000 robotics kits are far out of reach. Luckily, with support, students are learning engineering to soon become leaders and innovators who can help Uganda's economy grow. On top of that, the robotics program in Uganda has become an escape for many students and a sanctuary to learn in tumultuous times.

In order to do that, we need your help. Any support will be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions or any other ideas for how to support the program, please reach out.
