My name is Guilda Martinez, and today I come to you with my heart in your hands.

My 26 year old son Adrian Verduzco is currently being held in a detention center. He was picked up by ICE officers 6 months ago. We have been trying to fight his immigration case ever since, but the lawyer fees are overwhelming and we have no money to keep fighting. This situation has been devastating for our family. He is a loving husband, and father, and his absence has left a deep void in his home. He was ripped away from his wife and his 3 year old son.

As a mother, there is no greater pain than seeing your child go through such an unjust and heartbreaking siltation and not having the means to help him. At this moment, we are fighting for his freedom, and return him back to his family where he belongs. To achieve this we need legal support and the attorney fees are very high.

That is why today I humbly and hopefully ask for your help. Every donation, no matter the amount brings us closer to covering the legal fees and continuing to fight to so that my son can return home.

Mi nombre es Guilda Martínez, y hoy me presento ante ustedes con el corazón en las manos.

Mi hijo, Adrian Verduzco, de 26 años, se encuentra actualmente detenido en un centro de detención. Fue arrestado por oficiales de ICE hace 6 meses. Desde entonces hemos estado luchando por su caso de inmigración, pero los honorarios del abogado son abrumadores y ya no contamos con los recursos para seguir adelante. Esta situación ha sido devastadora para nuestra familia. Él es un esposo y padre amoroso, y su ausencia ha dejado un vacío profundo en su hogar. Fue arrancado de su esposa y de su hijo de 3 años.

Como madre, no hay dolor más grande que ver a tu hijo pasar por una situación tan injusta y desgarradora sin tener los medios para ayudarlo. En este momento estamos luchando por su libertad y por que pueda regresar con su familia, donde pertenece. Para lograrlo necesitamos apoyo legal, y los costos del abogado son muy altos.

Por eso hoy, con humildad y esperanza, les pido su ayuda. Cada donación, sin importar la cantidad, nos acerca más a poder cubrir los gastos legales y continuar luchando para que mi hijo pueda regresar a casa.
