“but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.”
Matthew 6:20
Hello everyone, my name is Walter. I am raising funds for a brother in Christ who lives on the other side of the world, Uganda to be specific. He is doing tremendous work with children that had no home. I’ve had video chats with Kimbugwe Sulaiman, where he’s showed me the conditions, as a tradesman it broke my heart. If you’re looking for a way to give this Holiday season, it might be a good one.
What I do or my part, I’ve sent funds through WorldRemit in the past and any funds collected through this will be sent to him the same way. Reason he doesn’t do the Go Fund Me himself is, it is banned in his country or region.
This all started as a request to follow on instagram by Kimbugwe, since then we’ve built a Christ-centered relationship, as wild as that may sound to some, encouraging each other praying for each other and those who believe in the power of prayer know what I’m talking about

Kimbugwe Children Home is a small home in Uganda, East Africa, created to give vulnerable and abandoned children a place where they feel loved, safe, and part of a family again. Many of our children have faced heartbreaking moments at a very young age-losing parents, being left alone, or growing up in situations where even basic needs were hard to find. Here, they are cared for, they are prayed for, and their joy is our mission.
Why We Are Asking for Help
Every year, Christmas is the one moment our children look forward to with shining hearts. It is the only time they receive new clothes, new shoes, small gifts, and a special meal that makes them feel remembered and valued. But this year, donations have been very low, and the situation has become difficult. Food prices have risen, and we are struggling to give them the Christmas they deserve.
We are not a big organization. We are a small family doing our best with the little we have. But we believe in love. We believe in community. And we believe God sends people at the right time.
If you are reading this, just know that you are part of our story now. From Uganda, from the children, and from me-thank you for choosing to care. Every bit counts.
Thank you for helping us bring hope to their hearts.
May God bless you always.
