Hi everyone! My name is Gemma and I’m currently volunteering in Tanzania at a holiday school program that supports local and Maasai tribe children from ages 3-16.

I have been teaching English, Maths, Biology and History to secondary students for the past week and they are all so smart, keen, full of potential and wanting to achieve their future career goals- but they face daily challenges when it comes to accessing consistent meals, basic supplies, and the education they deserve.

I’ve created this fundraiser to raise funds for essential needs like:

Daily School Meals

• Bananas for the whole school: $24/day

• Watermelon: $10/day

• Rice (25kg bag): $42

• Beans (10kg bag): $21

• Meat and vegetables: $82/day

Education Sponsorships

Just $23/month covers a student’s school fees, housing, clothes, uniform, and school supplies. It’s a small amount that goes a long way.

There are many Maasai families and mothers who need more supplies including; baby supplies (nappies, baby powder etc.) and home supplies (washing powder etc.).

Your donation, no matter how big or small, directly supports these children with more nutritious meals, learning materials, and life-changing access to education.
