I'm Dr. Lisa M. Wineburg, owner of The Butterfly Effect Trauma Response & Treatment Foundation. We are a nonprofit trauma foundation geared towards healing survivors of trauma. Currently we have a mentorship program for adolescent girls, and we need your help.

There is a little girl named Brie in our program who currently lives with her 80-year-old grandmother due to being shuffled around the foster care system for many years. Her grandmother, Ms. Lois recently had a stroke and has difficulty getting around. Despite her limitations, she committed to taking in Brie and her brother this year because no other placements were available.

Ms. Lois is in jeopardy of being evicted and we are here to do something about that. Brie has been through a lot and we don't want her losing her home to be added to her trauma. Please give what you can. We appreciate every penny. The funds will go directly to the landlord at the end of the fundraising event.
