My name is Bridget, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a really difficult time. Due to horrific and unforeseen circumstances, I suddenly have to find a new apartment. Right now, I’m staying in a hotel, and it’s the only way I can have a roof over my head that accommodates my disabilities and handicaps. Since my car accident in 2012, my life has changed completely. I survived with only a 20% chance, but the journey since then has been a roller coaster with many low points. I rely solely on my SSDI, which makes it even harder to manage unexpected emergencies like this.

The funds I’m raising will go directly toward paying my hotel bill so I can stay safe and sheltered while I search for a new apartment. If there’s enough, it will also help with the deposit for a new place, giving me a chance to regain some stability. Every bit of support helps me keep moving forward, even when it feels like I keep getting knocked back down just as I start to feel steady on my feet.
