On October 24, a fire broke out at my friend Brianna's house. The home is a total loss.
Brianna is a member of Pittsburgh's LGBTQIA+ community, and she shows up to support us. Now it's our turn to show up for her in her hour of need.
Right now, she is sorting through the damage and working with insurance companies. She is also preparing for surgery in November. That is a lot to carry in the same few weeks.
Her business, Brianna's Mobile Workshop, is run from the home, so it was affected too. Because both her home life and her business were disrupted, more needs may come up in the days and weeks ahead.
