In June 2024, twin brothers Brian and Brandon lost their father in a tragic, and possibly violent incident. The cause of death was never determined. Though they were estranged from him, it was still a painful and confusing loss.

Then, just over a year later in October 2025, their mother passed away unexpectedly. Brian was the one who found her unresponsive, and both brothers stayed by her side in the hospital until she took her last breath. In only two years, they’ve lost both of their parents — an unimaginable heartbreak.

Now, just two weeks after their mom’s passing, tragedy has struck again. Brian’s home was broken into, and the intruders stole nearly all of his video game consoles, jewelry, and personal items — the few comforts he had left. Brian works hard at a local restaurant and relies on public transportation, but this loss has hit him deeply, both emotionally and financially.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help Brian find a safe place to live closer to his job and replace some of what was stolen. The goal is $3,500 to cover first month’s rent, a security deposit, and essentials to get him back on his feet.

Both boys have been through more loss and hardship than anyone should endure, yet he continues to show up and work hard every day. Any donation — big or small — will help him take a step toward stability and peace.
