- I'm Brian Barth's sister, Leann, and around 3 weeks ago, I took Brian to the ER. After several tests, 2 ICU stays, bleeding internally, and a transfer to the University of Iowa hospital, he was diagnosed with an ulcer on the duodenum area of the small intestine. Brian still remains in the hospital, and it is unknown at this point when he will be able to go back to work. With monthly bills, girls in college, and hospital bills, I just wanted to help alleviate the worry so he can concentrate on healing. This journey has been pretty scary at times & if you can help in any way, I know Brian & his girls would appreciate it so much.
