Aloha,
It’s with love and humility that we share our dad’s story and invite you to walk alongside us during this time.
Last June, our dad, Brian “Braddah B” Urbshot, was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. The cancer had already spread to his liver, and more recently, to his bones. He’s now beginning a new chemotherapy treatment, and while the road ahead is uncertain, we’re trusting God each step of the way.
Many know our dad as “Braddah B”—a gifted musician with a soulful voice, a playful sense of humor, and a heart that shows up for others. Whether he was working long hours in pest control, truck driving, or federal service, he always did his best to care for our family. We didn’t grow up with much, but we grew up with music, love, and the steady presence of our dad’s determination.
Today, both of our parents are navigating major health challenges. Our mom, Sue, lives with rheumatoid arthritis and has had two knee replacements, yet she continues to care for Dad with grace and grit. They’re currently staying with our aunty and adjusting to a new rhythm of life—one that includes more limitations, but also deeper faith, humility, and love.
As their children—Kealii, Kanoe, and Ikaika—we’ve been doing our best to support them. Now, we’re opening the door for others to come alongside us in prayer and provision.
If you feel led to give, your support will help with:
Medical Bills
Groceries and household supplies
Monthly expenses while they’re unable to work
This journey has reminded us that even in the hardest seasons, we are not alone. If giving brings you peace or joy, we receive it with grateful hearts. And if all you can offer is a prayer, please know we cherish that just as much.
With love and gratitude,
Keali‘i, Kanoe, and Ikaika
