Hello family & friends!

As some of you may or may not know, my sister Leanne has been battling cancer for about 3 1/2 years. We’re so thankful for the way the Lord has carried her through this very difficult and painful journey. She is truly a FIGHTER and has endured so much, there is really no questioning her STRENGTH and RESILIENCE through it all. And she has relied on the Lord through it all along with the love of her family. ♥️ 

The past year she has been in and out of the hospital for multiple difficulties and unfortunately, in more recent weeks, her body has slowly been declining. Each day she has spent in the hospital, her condition is getting worse. We have sadly come to the point where her time is very limited and she will soon be with our Savior. 

As we are making plans and arrangements, talking with Leanne about her requests and wishes, and talking together as a family, we have decided Alyssa and I will be taking in her 4 beautiful children. 

And also, as some of you may know, Alyssa and I too have 4 children with our 5th baby due in about a month. This will make our family a total of 11 people! (Mom and Dad and 5 girls and 4 boys - Ages: 9, 8, 8, 7, 7, 6, 4, 2, and soon to be newborn baby) 

We understand the huge responsibility this will be and the many changes it will bring. But we take this on with love, excitement, and most importantly, our faith and hope in Christ. 

First and foremost, we want to ask for prayer. Please continue to keep Leanne in your prayers for comfort and peace while she is still here with us. Continue to pray for our whole family as we prepare for the passing of my beloved sister. And please pray for Alyssa and me in our next chapter. 

Now, to better accommodate our growing family, we are currently in the market for a home that will best suit us. It is always difficult to ask for help, especially for me and especially for a big ask like this one. But we fully know we cannot do this on our own and will need all the help we can get. And we put no limit to what God can do as He is faithful in always providing a way time and time again. 

We’d like to ask for help with our accommodations in adding our 4 nieces and nephew to our family. Our hopeful goal list for our new home/lives includes:

      •    Double washer and dryer

    •    Multiple bunk beds 

    •    Bed linens 

    •    Bathroom necessities/towels

    •    Furniture to creatively and practically store all of their clothes, toys, items

    •    Kitchen necessities (more cups, plates, larger pans, possibly a larger dining table)

    •    12-14 passenger Transit van to comfortably move our family around 

    •    Any legal expenses that may come up in adopting

      •    And more

However, we ask for help in every sense of the word. Anything helps! Whether it be monetary, prayers, or just simply sharing. We will also happily accept any donations of any gently used items, clothes, shoes, backpacks, etc.
