After 39 long years of living in the shadows, grappling with self-acceptance, and overcoming the suffocating grip of a narcissistic ex, I finally found the courage to step into the light. I shed not only the weight of my past—losing 250 pounds in a journey of transformation—but also the weight of hiding who I truly am.

But now, after witnessing the recent stripping of trans rights in Iowa, my heart aches for my community. The fight against hate is not just a personal battle; it is a collective call to action. Every day, I see our rights and dignity being challenged, and I refuse to stand idly by. My experiences have ignited a fire within me, a fierce determination to advocate for those who feel voiceless, to push back against discrimination, and to champion the rights of all marginalized individuals.

In November, I faced an unimaginable challenge when I was doxxed for speaking out against the MAGA agenda. This incident forced me out of my career and my home, driving me to seek refuge in a warmer climate to combat the overwhelming stress and depression that followed. The cost of this transition was staggering, amounting to a five-figure sum for moving expenses, dumpsters, and trucks. Despite seeking to be a voice for change, I have been met with hostility—receiving death threats, location messages, and continued doxxing across multiple Discord servers.

Living in a southern state as a single gay man has only intensified my fears. It has become abundantly clear that returning home and putting my loved ones in harm's way is not an option as I strive to be a full-time content creator and engage actively in state-level politics. My goal is to elevate our voices to the federal level, advocating for change rooted in humanity rather than dogma.

As I embark on this new journey into politics, I am committed to making a meaningful impact on human rights, ensuring that every person—regardless of their identity—can live authentically and without fear.
