My name is Brendan, and I am a type one diabetic who is legally blind. Recently, I was forced to leave my home due to harassment and abuse from my family. With nowhere else to turn, I am currently staying in a hospital while I wait for housing and support from social security and other programs. This has been an incredibly difficult and uncertain time for me, as I am managing my health conditions without a safe place to stay or a steady income.

The funds from this fundraiser will help me cover the cost of hotel stays and travel expenses, such as bus fare, so I can have a safe place to sleep and get to important appointments.
