We are reaching out on behalf of Brenda, a 70-year-old retired teacher, author, and woman of deep faith who is facing an incredibly difficult and unexpected situation. In the past few days, Brenda has endured circumstances no one should have to face. Following her recent divorce, she was to receive a court-ordered settlement that would allow her to secure housing and move forward with her life. Unfortunately, that payment has not been made. At the same time, Brenda experienced a traumatic incident in her home that resulted in both verbal and physical harm, leading to a hospital visit. Since then, she has been living in fear and uncertainty, trying to protect herself while navigating an overwhelming legal situation. She has been given a deadline of May 1 to leave her home, but without the funds that were supposed to be provided, she is now facing the very real possibility of having nowhere to go. Brenda has spent her life serving others—as a teacher, a mentor, and an author who encourages women that they are “Not Finished Yet.” Now she needs help from others during one of the most vulnerable moments of her life. We are asking for support to help Brenda: secure safe temporary housing, cover moving expenses, meet basic living needs, and begin to rebuild with dignity and peace. If you are able to give, any amount will make a difference. If you are not able to give, your prayers and sharing this page would mean just as much. Brenda has always been a woman of strength and faith. Even now, she continues to trust that God will make a way. Let’s come together and be part of that provision. With gratitude and hope, Friends of Brenda
