Brenda is a friend and coworker who has shown incredible strength and resilience. In her early 20s Brenda suffered a brain aneurysm that changed her life. Even now, at 25, she continues to face medical issues as a result, but she still shows up to work every day with a smile on her face. Brenda works at a Long Beach restaurant, doing her best to help her family, while her mother also works in the industry. Together, they have rescued many pet dogs, giving them loving homes despite their own struggles.
Recently, Brenda and her family, and their rescued dogs have been facing eviction. Despite reaching out to lawyers for help, they haven’t been able to stop the eviction, and now Brenda and her family are moving their belongings into a storage unit, fearing homelessness. The stress of medical bills and the threat of losing their home has been overwhelming, but Brenda continues to work hard and study at school, even with the pain from her brain injury.
Brenda is the kind of person who gives to others even when she has nothing left to give. She brings joy to everyone around her and has rescued countless puppies, showing her compassion and dedication. Please help support Brenda, a Long Beach local and a friend of mine, as she and her family try to get back on their feet. Your donation means more than you know and will help them find a new home and recover from medical and legal fees over the years.
