My name is Breana, and I am the founder of Breromi, the brand behind the world’s first inclusive, low-tension magnetic hair clips called Hair Cliques™.
I launched Breromi in 2023 to pursue my creative dreams. As a self-taught designer with skills in sewing, 3D modeling, and sculpting, I’ve poured my heart into building something new.
In 2024, I invented the Hair Clique™—a unique magnetic hair accessory made of two shaped halves that connect over the hair to form a secure, low-tension ponytail with the help of embedded or inserted combs/teeth. It works for all hair thicknesses and styles, and it can also be worn as a fashionable accessory over space buns or other looks.
My Patent-Pending Invention is constantly evolving—I’m designing it in different forms, including Hair Clique™, Claw Clique™, and Scrunchie Clique™.
Why I Need Your Help
As Breromi grows, I’ve faced challenges that require ongoing legal protection, including:
Patent filings to protect my invention
Trademark filings to secure my brand
Legal guidance to navigate contracts and partnerships
Litigation defense against unfair challenges
So far, I’ve already raised close to $14,000 to cover ongoing patent attorney fees and application costs. But protecting this innovation long-term requires much more. Having dedicated year-round legal support will help me defend my work, safeguard my brand, and build a strong foundation for future growth.
How Funds Will Be Used
Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
New Patent filings & prosecution – $10,000–$15,000+ per invention
New Trademark registrations & renewals – $1,000–$3,000
Ongoing legal consultations & guidance – $10,000–$20,000 annually
Litigation defense reserve – disputes can easily exceed $50,000
Based on these needs, I am setting a goal of $60,000 to cover at least one year of professional legal protection and guidance for Breromi.
Why This Matters
Legal support is essential not only to safeguard the work I’ve created, but also to ensure this business can continue to grow.
Your support means helping an independent, Black-owned, woman-founded brand stay protected and keep innovating.
