Help The Norwood Brass Firemen Continue Their Legacy!

Story

Since 1946, the Norwood Volunteer Fire Department Band, The Brass Firemen, has entertained crowds at firemen's field days, parades, community events and concerts with a unique blend of old time popular music favorites, marches and "North Countryfied" Dixieland Jazz. For the past 32 years, the band has traveled to and from performances on a donated 1961 GM Coach bus. In addition to ferrying band members, the Norwood Fire Department and other local departments can use the band bus as a standby fire truck for mass casualty incidents or evacuations. Sadly, because of it's age, replacement parts for this vehicle have become difficult to find, and the time has come to purchase the next band bus. Your donation in any amount will help the Brass Firemen continue a nearly 80-year musical tradition, and provide our local Fire Departments with an auxiliary emergency vehicle.
