Supporting Brandon’s Road to Recovery

My sweet nephew Brandon—whom we all lovingly call Buddy—had a devastating accident at his summer program. While swinging, he fell backward, hitting his head in a way that caused serious injuries to his neck, breaking it in several places.

Brandon has already undergone a major neck surgery and has been in the hospital since Tuesday, the 17th. Despite everything, he has been incredibly brave—nurses have praised him for his courage and politeness throughout this difficult time.

He’s facing a long road ahead, needing at least a week more in the hospital and then months of rehabilitation to help him walk again.

His loving mother, Nikki, will be out for the foreseeable future to care for him. This sudden crisis has brought overwhelming medical bills and financial challenges for their family.
