Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my mom, Marcia Gruber, who is bravely battling Stage IV Lung/Brain Cancer and is now in hospice care, with her time growing short.
As her primary caregiver, I’ve had to put my work as a Lawn Care Professional on hold to be by her side, ensuring she has comfort, care, and love in these final, precious moments. My mom has always been my rock, “the strongest woman I know.” She deserves to feel safe and cherished, not alone or worried about the future.
The reality is, being her full-time caregiver means I’m losing my income, and the financial strain is overwhelming. We’re facing mounting household bills, medical costs not covered by insurance, and the immense challenge of navigating this crisis without a safety net.
This GoFundMe is to help cover:
- Lost Income: To bridge the gap while I’m unable to work.
- Essential Bills: Rent, Utilities, Truck Payment, and Groceries.
- Mom’s Care: Comfort items and immediate needs during hospice.
- Final Expenses: To give my mom the dignified farewell she deserves.
I never imagined asking for help, but I need to focus on giving my mom the time and peace she needs, without the crushing weight of financial worry. Any donation, big or small, would mean the world and allow me to be present for her.
If you can’t donate, please share this campaign. Your support, prayers, and shares are deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping me give my mom the loving end-of-life journey she deserves.
With deepest gratitude,
Brandon Vaughan
