Hi my name is Shannon Warrell. I am the loving aunt of Brandon and Danielle Meng. Danielle and Brandon have been going through some pregnancy complications. Ever since Brandon and Danielle got married in August of 2019, they have been trying to have child. Good news came in August of 2020, when they found out that they were pregnant. They were so excited to tell their families. But on October 29th, 2020, Brandon had a birthday, he wishes he could forget as he spent the night at the hospital with Danielle as she suffered a miscarriage. Due to this miscarriage, Danielle found out she had to have surgery to remove a 5.4lb pound tumor, the doctor described as big as a football, along with her right ovary. Danielle had a successful surgery the day before Thanksgiving of 2020. In which Brandon had to sit in the Parking ramp all day due to Covid.

Brandon and Danielle never gave up hope and continued trying to conceive again. Once again, they had good news on March 2021. Their happiness didn’t last long as Danielle was at work and needed to go to the Emergency Room. While there they informed Brandon and Danielle that she was having another miscarriage. Danielle knew something was wrong still, and much to their surprise they found out she had a cervical ectopic pregnancy. This is where the embryo implanted in the cervix. After finding out this information, Danielle was rushed to UW Health where she had emergency surgery. Danielle spent 6 days in ICU being monitored. She was released but was informed not to go far in case of emergency. They spent the next week with Brandon’s parents so they could be close to the hospital in case of any complications.

Once again, they never gave up on their dream of having children. They tried for a year to no avail. In September, they decided to consult a fertility clinic. In doing so, they found out that they would be unable to have children. They found this news to be devasting because they both desire to become parents. They have recently decided to investigate another avenue and try adopting. While most don’t know adoption can be a very costly and emotional process, that may take time. Brandon and Danielle have a beautiful loving home who they share with their spoiled dog Belle. They both have jobs that they absolutely love and cherish. They have everything they want except a child to share their love with. I am here asking for support to help my nephew and his wife in monetary donations or prayer.
