Help Boy Scout Troop 350 Replace Stolen items
Donation protected
On Sunday, August 14th, 2022 at 3:34pm, BSA Troop 7350’s Utility trailer was stolen from Southside Church of Christ’s parking lot. The trailer’s hitch lock was cut, probably previously in the week, and the trailer was taken within a matter of minutes.
This is a devastating loss to Troop 350, originally the Troop Fundraised for about 5 years to purchase the Trailer and also fundraised several years to purchase the tents; at the time the Troop was much bigger. Currently, we have 6 boys ranging in ages from 11 to 15. We are an active troop and we are left very little camping gear for the boys to use.
In the trailer, were 6 tents, Double burner stove, 2 propane tanks, a Patrol box, 2 Cast Iron pans, including 2 lg Dutch Ovens that the Troop won at Scouting competitions, also lost 3 large aluminum stock pots, large first aid box, large white cooler, several tarps, mylar sheets, and 2 heavy duty snow sleds. I’m sure there was more… We are estimating the contents of the trailer at about $2500- $3000 and the Trailer $3000, so a total of $6000
We are hoping to be able to at least replace the camping gear and if enough money is raised replace the trailer. Any money left over from the purchase of these items will be Donated to another BSA Group.
