Help Bowling Buddies Foster Community Connections

Bowling Buddies is a unique, student-run program integrating special needs young adults with high school students throughout San Francisco and Marin County. I started attending Bowling Buddies three years ago, and this is my 2nd year as President of the program.

Each month, a group of special needs and local high school teens (anyone is welcome) meets at Presidio Bowl to enjoy bowling, friendship, pizza, and fun. This program aims to create connections and interactions with special needs young adults while putting our differences aside and focusing on similarities, inclusivity, and engagement. All family members are welcome to bowl or enjoy watching their children interact with new faces. Pizza is offered, and we strive to keep the event completely free so all Buddies can continue to attend with your help!

Donating to Bowling Buddies will help fund events once a month for the 2024-2025 year and keep the program running. Bowling Buddies has meant so much to our volunteers and special needs families over the last five years. Continuing this program will have such a positive impact on our community!
