Boona is a dear friend of mine who runs an orphanage in Uganda, caring for a group of wonderful children who have nowhere else to turn. Recently, the orphanage has faced heartbreaking challenges—they have run out of food, and the children are in urgent need of shoes to protect their feet from jiggers, a painful parasite that attacks those who go barefoot. Despite these hardships, Boona continues to give everything he can to ensure the children are safe, fed, and cared for every day.
