Help Bonnie Rebuild

On December 23, 2021, our mother/mother-in-law suffered a devastating loss. A fire erupted from a neighboring condo, catching her own condo on fire. Bonnie was able to escape the fire with her dog, Max; however, nothing else survived. Her bedroom was turned to ash, and all other parts of the condo were destroyed by smoke and water damage. Invaluable photos of her children and parents gone. Irreplaceable items from late family members gone. Everything she worked for as a single mother disappeared in an instant. 

Bonnie is the most selfless woman anyone could have the privilege of meeting. As a teacher for over 20 years, she has always wanted to help grow future generations into respectful, educated, and kind people. As a member of 242 in Brighton, Bonnie places her strong faith into her personality: be good, do good, and always help those in need. In the aftermath of the fire, Bonnie talked to her sons on two separate phone calls, telling both of them, “let me know if there’s anything I can do for you.” Even in her hour of need, Bonnie was putting others before her, like she has always done.

All donations received will go straight to whatever Bonnie requires. This includes clothing, food, housing, etc. Anything you believe a person might need, she needs it. Bonnie lost everything to this fire. If you cannot donate, please considering sharing instead.
