I am trying to raise funds for my dear friend Bonnie Miner. I have known Bonnie for over 30 years, and she has always been one of the kindest, most giving people I have ever known. I served in the Marine Corps with her dear deceased husband, Wade, for 20 years. During that time, Bonnie was like a sister and mother to so many young Marines and their families.

Unfortunately, Bonnie has had some difficulties the past few years. She lost her husband and her oldest daughter. Bonnie moved back to her childhood hometown, where she continues to be a helping hand in her community. Unfortunately, life isn’t always fair, and Bonnie’s old truck recently died, leaving her dependent on others for transportation and unable to travel to and from work. I am trying to raise $6500 to help Bonnie get back on her feet and make a down payment on a newer vehicle.

I am sending this out to friends and family. Most of you knew Wade and Bonnie at some point, and I hope you will donate in the spirit of the kindness that they always showed to others.
