Help Bobby make a home

Hey y’all. My name is Devon - this gofundme is for my friend Bobby Bellamy, a kind, inspiring person in the neighborhood who’s in dire need of some community TLC.

Bobby is a veteran who moved up to NYC from South Carolina in late 2017. He’s been houseless for the last several months and has been living in his van while trying to find employment and a stable housing situation.

He’s finally secured an apartment for March 1 that accepts govt. vouchers, but his van broke down last week and he’s is in need of some cash to stay warm in a local hotel for the remainder of February. We’d also like to get him set up with a little extra to get some basic necessities for his new home.

I’ve helped him out financially as much as I can over the last few months, but he’s in need of more support right now than I can offer directly. If there is anything you can give to help this loving, joyful, effervescent human being return to a stable living situation, we would be immensely grateful.
