Help Bobby get an electric wheelchair
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Charlotte and I am Bobby's mum. Bobby is 8 years old, almost 9! Bobby was born with a rare genetic condition which is so rare, nobody knows what it is. It means that he was globally developmentally delayed and that his muscles don't work that well. It also means he is extremely hyper mobile. This has left him using a wheelchair for the majority of his time. Recently, he has been suffering with an enormous amount of joint dislocations; his shoulders and knees especially. This is really painful and traumatic for him. It also means that his current, self-propelled wheelchair isn't great for him as when he wheels himself, his shoulders dislocate. This has left him with little to no independence and he relys on parents, teachers and classmates to get him around. As parents, we always want what's best for our children but unfortunately are not in a position to fund this completely by ourselves. So, we need your help! We are holding a few fundraising events, starting with Bobby's Grandad and brother Elliott, climbing Sugar Loaf mountain on Sunday 13th October. We will also be doing a family fancy dress walk ( daye tbc) and holding a family fun charity night at the Earlswood Social club on Friday 22nd November. If you can support us in any way it would be deeply appreciated!
