Bobby has been a familiar face in Astoria for many years, always standing outside the train station and greeting everyone with his signature phrase, "Have a blessed day." Even as life has thrown challenges his way, Bobby’s positive energy and uplifting spirit have touched countless people in our community. Recently, Bobby lost his home, and with the colder months approaching, his situation has become even more urgent.

Bobby is on his own and not in contact with any family, but he continues to bring light to those around him. He spends his days selling records on the street, never asking for much, and he’s always quick to offer a kind word. He simply wants a chance to get back on his feet and stay safe through the winter.

This fundraiser is a surprise for Bobby, organized by those who have been moved by his kindness and resilience. The funds raised will go directly toward providing him with temporary shelter, warm clothing, and nourishing food. By coming together, we can help Bobby find stability and comfort, and show him that his community cares as much about him as he has cared for us.
