Bobbie is someone who brings joy to everyone she meets. She works at Best Buy in New Jersey and is known for her kindness and her ability to make people happy, whether they’re customers or friends. I wanted to do something for her, because right now Bobbie dreams of taking a big step toward independence. Because she has cerebral palsy, public transportation and rideshares aren’t always safe or reliable for her. Getting to work, seeing friends, and running errands all depend on others, which makes daily life much more challenging than it should be.
Bobbie needs a solid, safe car. It would make a huge difference in her life. Having her own vehicle would mean she could get to work on her own, visit friends, and take care of her needs without having to rely on anyone else. This isn’t just about convenience—it’s about giving Bobbie the freedom and independence she deserves.
Bobbie has been working hard and saving, but it’s tough to reach the full amount on her own. The costs go beyond just buying the car—there are expenses for registration, insurance, maintenance, and making sure the car is safe and ready to drive. I also want her to have emergency funds, and a cushion for starting her independent life.
I decided to put this together for her, because I know how much it would mean, and I know how much she deserves it. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings Bobbie closer to finally having the independence she has worked so hard for. If you’re able to help or share her story, it would mean the world to her and everyone who cares about her.
