Help Bob & Vickie Find Stability & Rest

Hi, my name is Meagan, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my parents, Bob and Vickie.

They are two of the kindest, most selfless people I know. My whole life, I’ve watched them put others before themselves—always the first to help, even when they had very little to give. They believe in family above all else, and they’ve lived that value every day.

A few years ago, my parents made the life-changing decision to invest everything they had—time, money, and energy—into remodeling a home that belonged to someone they trusted. They were promised that, in return, they would be able to live there long-term and eventually have the deed transferred to them. My mom, dad, and younger brother poured countless hours into fixing the entire home, including building a fully separate in-law apartment from the ground up.

Now, that promise has been broken. Despite all their investment—financial and emotional—they are being evicted from the home they helped rebuild. They have nowhere to go and no financial safety net to fall back on. It’s a heartbreaking situation, and they’re facing it with quiet strength, though I know how deeply it’s affecting them.

On top of all this, my dad has been struggling with major health issues: a collapsed lung, a double knee replacement, and heart surgery all within the last year. He’s still working because he has no choice, but his body is telling us it’s time to rest.

My boyfriend and I are hoping to start a family in the future, and our greatest wish is to have my parents nearby—where we can support them, care for them, and give back a fraction of what they’ve given to us and others throughout their lives.

They currently share their home with my younger brother and their beloved cat, and they all need a safe place to land.

My parents would never ask for help themselves, so I’m doing it for them. Every donation, every share, every kind word means more than you can imagine. The funds will go toward helping them move, secure safe and stable housing, and give my dad the chance to rest, heal, and feel hope again.

Donations will go directly toward helping Bob and Vickie find housing, cover moving costs, and provide short-term financial relief. Any funds raised beyond the goal will go toward supporting their long-term stability and medical needs, and help ensure they never face a crisis like this again.
