Hi,

I’m Kagimu Frank Fabian Kalungi — a Black transgender woman, feminist, and human rights defender from Uganda.

Last year, I was imprisoned and tortured under Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Law for my activism. After six months in Jinja Prison, I escaped to Germany on a humanitarian visa.

Now, as I start over in Berlin, I’m facing a real emergency:

I can’t legally work yet, I have limited access to health insurance, and I’m struggling to afford rent, food, and medical care.

Your support can help me avoid homelessness and rebuild my life with dignity, safety, and hope.

Your donation will cover:

Rent (€550–€750/month)

Groceries & essentials (€250–€300/month)

Transport & study materials (€150–€200)

Therapy & medical support (€100–€200)

Please help me start again safely — every euro makes a difference.

With love and gratitude,
Fabz (Fabian)

Hallo,

Fabz (Fabian)
