Help BJ Spoon's Family with Medical and Funeral Expenses

About two years ago, Billy (BJ) Spoon was diagnosed with cirrhosis and cancer of the liver. Over the last year, BJ's health has declined rapidly. He fought long and hard to remain himself and keep his ability to work and provide. Almost a year ago, he was no longer able to do so, losing his income and the benefits that came with it.

BJ was the main provider for his, his wife’s (Arlene Spoon), and granddaughter’s home.

During the past six months, his illness has taken quite a toll on his body, health, and mind. His hospital trips became more frequent, to the point of spending more time in a hospital bed than at home. Since there was nothing more they could do besides keep him comfortable, he chose to spend the rest of his time in the comfort of his home.

His wife, who has been the only income in their home for quite some time, has taken a leave from work and has been at home caring for him full-time for the past 2-3 months, and plans to do so until his time comes.

We truly appreciate the family and friends that have helped by delivering meals, checking in, running errands, and all of the prayers during this time.

However, we trying to raise funds to help with the costs of the multiple medical expenses, utility bills, and funeral arrangements.
