Billy Wilson and I have been friends for years, brought together by our shared love of dirt bikes and freestyle motocross. Recently, while training for his upcoming Freestyle Mania tour with Monster Jam, Billy suffered a devastating crash on his home setup. He shattered and dislocated his left hip, fractured his pelvis, and severed his sciatic nerve, leaving him with no mobility in his left foot. The road to recovery is long—doctors estimate 8 to 12 months—and during this time, Billy is unable to work.
