Billy has always been the heart of our motorcycle community, known for his kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. As members of the KMA/KBA, we’ve spent years riding with friends and strangers alike, and Billy never hesitates to lend a hand—whether it’s changing a tire, fixing a battery, or spending hours troubleshooting a stubborn engine. He’s even driven an hour out of his way to help someone who was completely lost with their motorcycle, never asking for anything in return. His garage has always been open, and he’s given away extra parts and his time freely, simply because he cares about others.

A few years ago, Billy suffered a heart attack that changed everything for us. Since then, he’s struggled with his breathing and lost much of the strength he once had. Tasks that used to be easy now leave him exhausted, and I often find myself in the garage helping with the heavy lifting. I worry constantly about him overexerting himself, especially when he insists on helping others despite the risks. He’s 63 now, and I can see how much it hurts him to think he might have to stop doing what he loves. Recently, he mentioned selling his tools because he just couldn’t manage the manual work anymore, and I saw tears in his eyes.

A tire changer would make a world of difference for Billy. It would allow him to keep helping our friends and community without putting his health in danger. For me, it would bring peace of mind, knowing he can continue doing what he loves safely. I want to give him the chance to keep being the generous, caring person he’s always been, without risking his well-being. Any support would mean so much to both of us and to everyone who’s ever benefited from Billy’s kindness.
