Help Bill Coffey Heal from Trauma and Abuse

This is an incredibly difficult task to ask for help but anyone who knows myself, my dad, or any member of the Coffey family knows how strong and independent we are... particularly when it comes to asking for a helping hand. In any case, we have encountered a very unfortunate situation with my Dad, Bill aka "Boner." In February of 2024, he suffered a major heart attack. The doctors instructed my brother to say his goodbyes because Dad would not make it. He pulled through and was given 2 months to live. He lived past those 2 months and was able to attend my wedding in October. He defied the doctors prediction and is still alive today in May of 2025!

The backstory: After his heart attack, he was moved to Washington state to receive full time care from extended family. Long story short, we discovered that he was the victim of elderly abuse and went up to save him this past week. He is now home safe in California (will not be disclosing where due to safety and security purposes) and a restraining order is in place for these particular individuals involved in this crime.

Because of this, we have incurred unexpected travel/medical expenses due to his move which has caused Dad severe trauma and further medical issues. While we anticipate he will recover, it's hard to know for sure.

Everything is all over the place, and things feel so out of control with this deep betrayal we have endured... particularly for my 93 year old Dad who suffers from memory loss.

We humbly ask for your assistance in ensuring Boner's safety and security as we get him settled into his new living arrangement. What a blessing it is to have so many well wishes, prayers and messages sent our way. If you cannot contribute anything, a simple prayer will do.
