Help Big John Singleton replace a Deep Water Well

Time to revisit an earlier Sneak Peek we posted about this very special Pressley's Peep: Big John Singleton! This time, however, we are asking for your DONATIONS with a GO FUND ME campaign we are setting up to help offset the exorbitant costs of replacing John’s Deep Water Well at his home on Edisto Island… because, as John so accurately states:

“My well done run dry.”

We have all heard the saying:” The shoe-maker’s children have no shoes.” We have a similar irony with Big John’s unfortunate situation in that “The dishwasher has no water.” It is hard to imagine living any amount of time without running water... much less going several weeks without a modern-day convenience that most of us take for granted. #PleaseHelpBigJohnReplaceHisWell

To that extent, we have received several quotes to dig a new well on John’s property and the range is between $8,000 to $10,000. We are asking ALL of our loyal friends and Pressley’s customers for your help in the form of a donation on our Go Fund Me Page.

A little bit more about the kind and humble man of modest means that you will be helping: Born and raised on Edisto, John joined the Pressley's Crew- as our Dishwasher In Chief - on the very first day we opened in May of 2013. As an amazing testimony to his loyalty, dependability and commitment to his work, John has never missed a day on the job. #SeriouslyNotOneShift.

In addition to keeping up with cleaning the massive amounts of dishes that our tiny kitchen puts out #OnTheDaily, John is the man behind the making of Pressley's complimentary signature bean dip we call "Edisto Caviar." #WhoDoesntLoveTheBeanDip

Despite Mr. John being a huge NFL and Budweiser kinda guy with the Carolina Panthers being his favorite team; he also is a big softy with a kind heart dedicated to taking nightly leftovers to feed the feral cats on the island. #BestFedFatCats
