It’s with a heavy heart we make this fundraiser for our sister in law, Beza Mekonnen. After 18 years and having four children together, my brother abandoned them in December 2021. Beza has handled this terrible situation with such grace and I am so thankful that my nieces and nephews have such a strong mother to look up to. Beza had to find work and support them on her own. My brother has offered little to no assistance since he left them to live with his mistress. He has now filed for custody of the kids and our worst fears are now becoming a reality. The legal fees are a heavy burden and she needs help to be able to afford to have a fighting chance.
