My father, Israel, the heart behind the beloved Beyond The Wok food truck, was recently detained due to immigration issues, leaving our family in a sudden and unexpected crisis. As the sole provider for the household, Israel’s absence has placed significant financial and emotional strain on my mom and two younger siblings.
This situation happened suddenly and without warning. Because of this, we’ve had to close the Beyond The Wok food truck much sooner than expected, and we ask for your understanding during this time. At home, my mom is doing her best to hold everything together while caring for my little siblings. My younger brother and I are stepping in to help where we can, but this has been overwhelming for all of us.
This season has brought unexpected challenges and decisions we were not prepared for, especially financially. If you feel led to support our family during this time, it would truly help carry some of the weight that we are facing.
We’re reaching out to our incredible Beyond The Wok community to help us through this challenging time. Any support, whether through donations or prayers, would mean the world to Israel and our family. Thank you guys for all of the support these past 4 years. Please consider contributing to help cover essential expenses and give us the strength to navigate through these uncertain times.
Your generosity and continued support are deeply appreciated.
